Kick all the 'founding fathers' off currency tbh. They were a bunch of slave owning twats who had a couple good ideas. If a couple good ideas are enough for putting their faces on currency, we'll need a whole bunch of new denominations.
"Tradition" is just a word people use to make themselves feel better about being an asshole.

I collect coins - I'm pretty much always in favor of new coins. The whole thing is so ridiculous - there's just no plausible cover here. If I were a committed disseminator, I'd pick a different hill to die on.

All of the people mentioned above (bar Garrison) have appeared on US currency. None of them were founding fathers or presidents. So, what is your objection to Tubman?

Maybe because the recognition of the contributions of women, people of colour, slaves, abolitionists, and war heroes has been sadly lacking on US notes. Mrs. Tubman covers all those in one swell foop.
