A presup - regardless of what they believe upon entering a discussion/argument/debate isn't looking to learn anything other than what they think they can use to back up their belief.
It's essentially useless to try to change their mind...their mind is made up.
Someone who is questioning will have certain biases but at least they seem willing to listen to "the other side" and consider what's brought to the table.
A presup has already planted their flag and is there to defend it, no matter how big of a pretzel they have to contort into to do it.
