1BR (2019)-- on Netflix

Best if you go into it without a synopsis or anything. (But I bet you've seen it, Ten... but maybe others haven't....)

I have not! I am really lazy about Netflix but possibly I'll watch it today. ^^

Last Shift (2014)

Nice all-around spook-fest with a great ending. I'm so hardened to horror, it's rare that a movie can get under my skin, but this one managed to.

Just watched "Lair of the White Worm" 1988.

Might be too campy to be included on our "creepy film" list, but I quite enjoyed it. And where else am I going to mention it?

Not a film, but a show that's based on a classic b horror movie:

Creepshow (2019).

Delivers very much the kind of fare that the films delivered. Cheap and cheesy horror. The interludes need to be animated comic-book style and given some real attention. They suck. It's like the cryptkeeper had a stroke and can't stop laughing. But otherwise, great horror anthology.

Free until end of September with Amazon Prime. Season 1 episode 3/ second half-- "Man in the Suitcase." Excellent social commentary.

Resurrection (2022)
Glorious (2022)
Tethered (2022)

Hellbender (2022) fits but I did not enjoy it. It was more the low budget mess it exactly was.

Beau is Afraid looks like it'll be another one.

Have you watched Mad God 2022

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
