Regardless, even with his claim being a poorly worded claim that they are potential human beings, that still clarifies nothing since cloning, while far from perfected, is certainly possible. You've compared zygotes to toenails. That places you at a serious intellectual disadvantage. Your arguments would improve greatly if you distanced yourself from false equivalencies.

Life after death, for example, is exclusive to religion. No political ideology promises you heaven after death. Religion tells you you will meet your parents after death, and reunite. No political ideology promises this.

And what's so dangerous about the idea of an afterlife? Actually, it's more dangerous to think that there is none, that the likes of Hitler will go unpunished. Materialism is the backbone of all fascist and communist ideologies, which are responsible for two world wars... so far.

Fair enough, and accurate. It still doesn't nullify the point. No one argues the ethics of removing a skin tag despite the thousands of "potential humans" humans being destroyed.
