I have to wonder, considering the number of people who googled whether Biden had dropped out, how many Infowars faithful will continue to seek their news there and continue spout it as reality.
I think The Onion would do the world a service by making Infowars a legit news site under the guise of unchanged operations and allow the ignorant idiots to become useful idiots.

I heard this morning that Alex Jones and Co. are fighting the sale to The Onion as the auction wasn't done fairly.
I haven't heard so much-that's not fair- crap since about first grade.

He was probably expecting it to be purchased by Faux News.

It seems Elon Musk is trying to save Infowars from being bought by the Onion.
Quote:Alex Jones Is Trying to Halt the Sale of Infowars. Elon Musk’s X Just Got Involved in the Case
For reasons that no one has yet explained, attorneys for X, formerly known as Twitter, the social media giant now owned by Elon Musk, entered an appearance during the hearing and asked to be included on any future communications about the case.
“I was told Elon is going to be very involved in this,” Jones said during a live broadcast on X. After Infowars was seized and the site shut down, Jones promptly began operating under the name and branding of a new venture, dubbed the Alex Jones Network, which streams on X. Jones noted that lawyers for X were present at the hearing, adding, somewhat mysteriously, “The cavalry is here. Trump is pissed.” (He later elaborated that “Trump knows I’m one of his biggest defenders.”)
As this odd situation played out, however, Infowars’ website came back online on Friday afternoon; soon after, Jones and his staff had also returned to Infowars‘ studios. Throughout Friday and Saturday morning, the site was full of stories preemptively declaring Jones’ victory over the Onion.
After the original publication of this article, Collins responded to the revival of Infowars in a Twitter thread, reiterating that the Onion won the bid and writing that his company “left the hearing with clear next steps to complete the sale. InfoWars’ current management asked to continue operating until then. We always knew the guys who currently run InfoWars were going to take this badly and use a loss to fundraise off of it. They did not disappoint!”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Chatbot Outperforms Doctors In Diagnostic Accuracy
The diagnosis of the chatbot alone outdid the doctors. The average of the chatbot in scrutinizing the medical condition was significantly higher than doctors.

I worked on computer-aided-detection software for mammography machines back in 2013 or so. We trained the engine with tens of thousands of mammograms and adjusted the algorithms based on its learning. Now AI reviews almost all digital mammograms in the US.

Mammograms did me no good. Had I not requested an ultrasound...this post wouldn't be happening.
