Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has accused his country’s own president, Karol Nawrocki, and the right-wing opposition of being part of a “Putinist front” that serves Russia’s interests by harming relations with the European Union and Ukraine and undermining democratic institutions.

Tusk declared that Putin has a five-point plan for Poland that involves “weakening and breaking up the EU”; “dividing Poland from Ukraine”; “setting Poland against Germany”; preventing Poland from bolstering its military readiness; and “destroying the institutions of a democratic state”.

He argued that these aims are identical to those of Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of the national-conservative Law and Justice (PiS), Poland’s main opposition party. PiS also backed Nawrocki’s successful bid for the presidency last year and is closely aligned with him.

He is right in regard to nawrocki and pis. They are performatively against russia but want to build russia (or at least Budapest per kaczynski promise*) in Poland. They want country full of nationalism, xenophobia, homophobia and all around idiocy. That said tusk is a dude whose government suspended constitution so perhaps he shouldn't be so quick to cast blame on others.

The national security advisor to Polish President Karol Nawrocki, who is a conservative Trump ally, has criticised the US president for his social media posts attacking Pope Leo XIV and sharing an image that appears to depict Trump as Jesus.

“President Trump’s post (and the graphic attached to it) regarding His Holiness Pope Leo XIV exceeds all norms and is an insult to the Vicar of Christ, and thus to all Catholics!” wrote Sławomir Cenkiewicz, head of Nawrocki’s National Security Bureau (BBN), on X.

When even your most loyal ally criticizes you then you fucked up. It's quite curious however that it wasn't president who said that. Not that I would expect much in a way of courage from a dude who stolen apartment from some elderly guy he promised to take care of.

Polish opposition admits leader wrong to suggest Hungarian PM-elect killed puppy in microwave.

Jarosław Kaczyński, the leader of Poland’s opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party, today suggested that Hungary’s incoming prime minister, Péter Magyar, killed a puppy in a microwave, repeating a false and widely debunked online claim.

A few hours later, a party spokesman admitted that Kaczyński had been wrong, saying that he had “relied on information that has been circulated by the media”. However, he added that the PiS leader stood by other criticism of Magyar, who Kaczyński says “should not exist in public life”.

Title was too good to skip it.

Seems that ducky (kaczyński is sometimes called duck as a joke based on surname) couldn't stand trump overshadowing him in idiocy and decided to fire all cannons.

Senior officials at the Department of War have spoken with Mary Barra, the CEO of General Motors and the chief executive of Ford Motor, Jim Farley, according to people familiar with the matter.

Defense officials are concerned that the US is depleting its stock of weaponry and have asked firms if they can rapidly shift to a war-time production footing, a role American companies assumed during World War II.
