The US Food and Drug Administration for the first time has approved an eye drop to treat presbyopia, also known as age-related blurry near vision, in adults.

Pilocarpine HCl ophthalmic solution 1.25% (Vuity) works in part by contracting the pupil size in a pinhole-camera effect. It could allow people with good distance vision to forego their reading glasses in many situations, and might expand interest in refractive surgery such as LASIK.

So, you think that at some point people are going to just stop bothering to plant trees? Or that the trees that exist aren’t even going to bother dropping their seeds and allow them to grow naturally?

I need corrective lenses for both reading and seeing in the distance. Add to that an astigmatism, I'm screwed.

I'm at the other end of the spectrum. I have 20/15 vision in my remaining eye.

It might be tempting fate, but I almost wish that vision would degrade a little. Not much, but just enough to require a monocle. An eyepatch AND a monocle? I could rock that look.

So Republicans are all smug because they won Virginia and are bragging the Left Is Melting Down" lol. I'm sorry Republicans don't get to talk about anybody melting down till they

- Acknowledge Biden won the 2020 election

-Stop defending the capital insurrectionists and own up to Jan 6th

- Renounce Qanon and the nutty Trumpist faction of their party

-Renounce Trump for starting the big lie

-Stop voting laws that stop fraud that never happened

-Stop calling elections rigged when they lose

-Acknowledge their role in spreading the big lie

- Acknowledge the Arizona audit was a partisan fraud

Till then they have no business saying anybody else is having a meltdown after a year of unhinged coping.

Igor Dechenko was just publicly burned by State and Main Justice in what I can only surmise was a combination of fealty to the deposed mad king, and fealty to the fictioin of bipartisan comity.

Who could possibly lose in that confluence, amiright? Hope there aren't any windows where he lives.

The joke is always on the Trumpists as the Steele Document was never used in the Russia investigation so this is just them pissing in the wind.
