They aren't saying a whole lot but my understanding is that cardiac arrest outside a hospital environment rarely ends well.
The wrong Republicans keep having health crises.

There are "unconfirmed" reports he's brain dead.
I'm waiting for confirmation that he's gone full rigor tortoise...

So Mitch is braindead. Good for him I guess. He never had to suffer the consequences of his actions in power. May we all be so lucky.

Trump is an idiot. Mitch was an evil genius who instigated all of this. May he burn in hell.

People often compare Trump to Nixon. I think a better comparison is McConnell to Nixon.

Here's an article that explains how communism (in China) is a religion and how they persecute other religions not because they worship god, but because they worship "wrong" god.
Quote:Christians are disappearing for worshipping a God other than Xi
TJ knew what his family’s crime was: being Christian and worshipping a God that was not Xi Jinping. In China, following a church that is not state-controlled is punishable.
The Chinese leader is intensifying Beijing’s crackdown on Christians amid a wider purge of top officials, showing signs of an increasingly paranoid leader.
The country officially recognises five religions, including Protestantism and Catholicism, but this only extends to churches that are fully state-controlled, where congregation is expected to sing patriotic songs before every service and affix Mr Xi’s portrait above the pulpit.
Mr Xi’s ruthless campaign against these underground churches aims to ensure the survival of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and remove any threat to his power.
Mr Fu said: “It’s the emperor playing God. [Mr Xi] wants to be exclusive, he doesn’t want to have anything treated or worshipped more superior than him.”
While Christians have long been treated as outsiders in China, when Mr Xi came to power in 2012, he piled on policies to further assimilate Christians and other religious groups in the country.
In 2015, he launched a “Sinicisation” campaign, which forced all religious and ethnic groups to assimilate and prioritise loyalty to the CCP over individual religious beliefs.
The same Sinicisation policy has been used to imprison and torture Uyghur Muslims in what has been characterised by many human rights organisations as genocide.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

This pretty nearly encapsulates the entire history of religious persecution.

“Moreover, these persons [Christians] utter against one another dreadful blasphemies, saying all manner of things shameful to be spoken; nor will they yield in the slightest point for the sake of harmony, hating each other with a perfect hatred. Certain among the Christians are called ‘cauterized in the ears;’ and some are termed ‘enigmas.’ You may hear all those who differ so widely, and who assail each other in their disputes with the most shameless language, uttering the words, ‘The world is crucified to me, and I unto the world.’”

Quote:Millions of Americans are borrowing money or draining their savings to buy groceries, highlighting the financial strain many households face as the cost of living rises, new research has found.
More than a quarter of working-age adults who relied on credit cards to buy groceries were either unable to pay their balance in full or missed their minimum payment, according to the Urban Institute, a nonpartisan think tank. About one in 10 adults relied on so-called "buy now, pay later" loans to cover their groceries — of those, about a third missed a payment last year, the analysis found.
About 20% of working-age adults said they had tapped long-term savings that weren't intended for everyday expenses, such as an emergency fund, at least once in the last 12 months to pay for groceries, the researchers said.
