Yup barking is natural for dogs to do. The fact humans don't tend to do it does not negate the fact it's natural, And this is of course nothing like homosexuality which both species do. Thus this is a stupid argument that refutes nothing 

If you feel like there is something wrong with a human being barking- congratulations, you got it: animals' behavior shouldn't be the criterion for something to be natural.

I don't feel there is anything wrong with humans barking. It's simply we don't do as it's not how we evolved to communicate. Therefore you have not refuted the idea that things that occur in nature shouldn't define what is natural, And I will for the 40th time because something is natural does not make it prescriptive. Arguing against homosexuality by way of an argument for female allocation is profoundly vile...and more than a little bit ignorant.

So, even under your definition, why would 'natural' be good?

You complain that homosexuality doesn't serve our instinct to procreate. To me, that is a positive about homosexuality! There are already too many people on Earth. We should be reducing the population through attrition as opposed to adding more to it.

So, in this sense, homosexuality may well serve our instinct for survival.

There are better ways to reduce population (or decrease the birth rate) like birth control. No need to encourage these sexual orientations. 

A word of warning though: All ideologies that endorse ethnic cleansing like nazism and such can use your same rationalization.

In any case, I find the whole argument to be silly. Most people don't choose who they love. They fall in love and decide what to do from there. And there is nothing inherently wrong with men loving men nor of women loving women. And, to go further, there is nothing wrong with people expressing their love for someone via sexuality.

Unfortunately, I am not bisexual, so I am not inclined to share sexuality with anyone who is not female. But that doesn't mean I am against others finding happiness in sex with whoever is willing.

What's silly is to base your argument on what people fall in love with.. you can also fall in love with your neighbor's wife, for instance, are you sure there is nothing wrong with expressing your love to you neighbor's female ? (Y/N)

Well, if you apply your own survival criterion to homosexuality - homosexuality becomes invalid, only competition over females serves the survival of species. Clearly, promoting homosexuality is not the best way to allocate (female) resources.

This rests on a number of faulty assumptions 

1. It assumes you can make people gay by promotion 

2. It assumes Homosexuality will ever reach levels that can threaten the survival 

3. It assumes that Homosexuals can't reproduce 

4.That Homosexuality doesn't indirectly influence reproduction
