No, it's not, this is pointless.  You just acknowledged that there are happy people in the world who don't believe in your god.  Your perspective, is that you wouldn't be happy.  I suppose it's a dead end.  No one can think of anything a person can only get from a belief in god.

We already discussed this one.  People who feel protected and watched over are a dime a dozen - most of us have a family, and a community, and a state, and a nation, and a culture.  That's alot of transcendence.  

As to the atheist girl you know, maybe she likes to fuck and finds metaphysical rest in it? If you're going to be lazy or unserious, what's the point?

Okay well.......the only other thing I can think of, is transcendent religious experiences. Back when I used to attend Mass, and the organ/choir music was playing, I would sometimes have a "vision", in my mind's eye, of something grand and strange. One time I saw horses with faceless riders, riding on a cloud. Another time I saw a beautiful white woman with blond hair wearing a blue robe, she was smiling and surrounded by golden white light. I doubt any atheist has had this kind of experience.

Also common to humanity. The sense of the numinous is unrelated to god beliefs and exists absent of them. Most don't hallucinate, though, that's across both theists and atheists.

To feel is literally in our genetic and chemical makeup. To ascribe something as secular as music to feeling the divine is as imagintively creative as we can become. To think something is there when it isn't is just part of being human, yet to be reasonably honest one must be capable of distinguishing reality from abstract perceptions.

With respect to ahris beliefs, music can be made into a god, just like a hotdog could be made into a god, or any other thing...and much of what ahri has been offering amounts to a way that ahri feels apprehending a thing. Ahris god is -the thing that makes happy and safe thoughts, for example.

Its a thing in your head doing things in your head, specifically, the thought which, when apprehended, makes you feel the way you do. That's how it works for atheists too.

I'm not actually talking about allfairies, in case it wasn't clear, I don't believe in them - complaining that gods aren't a thing will be lost on me. I'm discussing the mental object, which shouldn't be an issue for you, as mental objects - like hot dogs, music, or tomatos..or indeed any other.....thing....can be gods - according to you.
