Richmond Mayor Spreads Conspiracy Posts About Bondi Beach Attack

Richmond Mayor Eduardo Martinez is facing possible censure by the Richmond City Council on Tuesday evening for reposting conspiracy theories, which included claims that Israel’s actions are the root cause of antisemitism, on social media in the days following the deadly attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Australia.

Rabbi Julie Saxe-Taller said the mayor’s reposts — particularly one suggesting the attack may have been a false flag operation — were “shocking” and left her congregation of 70 households feeling unseen and vulnerable.

“We celebrate Hanukkah sometimes in public,” Saxe-Taller said, explaining that the posts made people think twice about gathering. “It’s hard to imagine what it would feel like for people who celebrate the dominant holidays to be afraid to go to a Christmas celebration, but that’s how people feel.”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Lemmy Kilmister’s bizarre alien encounter: “It couldn’t have been some acid flashback”

Elvis Presley’s “spiritual advisor” and hairstylist (quite a combination), Larry Geller, has claimed that ‘The King’ shared telepathic visions with aliens at just eight years old, with one alien even showing him a vision of his future self, wearing his famous white jumpsuit. Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge is perhaps aliens’ biggest champion in the rock ‘n’ roll pantheon, declared in their 1999 hit ‘Aliens Exist’.

Legends including Jimi Hendrix, Keith Richards and John Lennon have all claimed to have had encounters with extraterrestrials, spotting UFOs circling above their homes.

Speaking with Inked magazine, Lemmy recounts a time when he claims to have encountered a UFO. “In 1966, we were coming back over the Yorkshire Moors, which, incidentally, was before I even drank beer, so it couldn’t have been some acid flashback,” he asserts.

Adding, “This thing came over the horizon and stopped dead in the middle of the sky. Then it went from a standstill to top speed, immediately. We don’t even have aircraft that do that now, never mind then. So that was pretty eye-opening for me.”

Whatever it was that Lemmy saw floating in the sky, whether it be an alien spacecraft or some other entity, its effect certainly took hold on the young musician. Ironically, he soon left the Vickers to join the space rock group Hawkwind, spending nearly four years as their bassist before being kicked out after his arrest for drug possession.

Baba Vanga predicted alien spaceship would enter Earth’s atmosphere and outbreak of WWIII for 2026

Clairvoyant Baba Vanga, long believed by devotees to have foreseen events such as 9/11 and the COVID-19 pandemic, predicted alien visitors and the outbreak of World War III for this year.

The blind Bulgarian mystic, who died in 1996 at age 85, was said to have predicted humanity’s first-ever encounter with extraterrestrial life would take place in November 2026, according to The Mirror.

She warned that a colossal alien spacecraft would enter Earth’s atmosphere, though she did not elaborate on the visitors’ intentions.

Among her most ominous forecasts was a warning that World War III would erupt in 2026 — a prediction made more unsettling by rising global tensions, including a potential Chinese takeover of Taiwan and a direct confrontation between Russia and the United States.

However, Vanga also predicted the world would not come to an end until 5079, meaning the potentially catastrophic war would not mark humanity’s final chapter

She further warned that society is nearing a breaking point at which it will realize it has “gone too far.”

That prediction is said to center on technology and morality, with enthusiasts asserting the clairvoyant foresaw a time when societies would collectively acknowledge they had crossed ethical and technological boundaries.

Beyond her 2026 forecasts, she was also said to have predicted that artificial organs could enter mass production as early as 2046, with her alleged forecasts of breakthroughs in cancer detection often linked to ethical and technological concerns.

Vanga’s timeline for the end of humanity:

2028: Humans will begin to explore Venus as an energy source.

2033: The polar ice caps will melt, raising sea levels to drastic heights worldwide.

2076: Communism will spread to countries across the world.

2170: A drought will devastate much of the world.

3005: Earth will go to war with a civilization on Mars.

3797: Humans will have to vacate the Earth because it’s become uninhabitable.

5079: The world will end.

Wow, Vanga is predicting the future, doing miracles all while giving lessons in morality - just like some other guy or guys.

(Bold mine)

This bit - while largely untrue - isn't completely crazy. Israel's actions may intensify pre-existing anti-Semitism, but they certainly aren't a 'root cause'. It'd be more correct to say that Israel's actions cause accusations of anti-Semitism, vis:

'The Israeli government should stop butchering Gazans.'

'JEW-HATER!!'

What will happen for seven seconds on August 12? Here's all about the conspiracy theory going viral online

A new conspiracy theory claiming that a catastrophic event will strike Earth for seven seconds on August 12, 2026, is going viral on social media.

According to the theory, the Earth will experience a brief “gravity blackout,” during which gravity will completely switch off. The claim further alleges that the US space agency NASA is secretly preparing for the event, supposedly spending $89 billion under a classified operation called “Project Anchor.”

The theory, first circulated by a TikTok user named fiery_by_nature, claims NASA knows the planet will temporarily lose gravity but is deliberately withholding the information from the public. The alleged purpose of the secret project is to test whether Earth can survive a sudden gravitational disruption.

From a physics perspective, if Earth’s gravity were to completely switch off for seven seconds and then return, the consequences would be dramatic—but not apocalyptic.

Scientists stress that such a gravity shutdown is not physically plausible with our current understanding of physics—and remains firmly in the realm of science fiction.

Since gravity is a function of mass, the Earth would have lose its entire mass for those seven seconds. The loss of gravity might not be apocalyptic, but the loss of mass would leave ‘apocalyptic’ in the rear view mirror.

And I'm pretty sure that it'd be apocalyptic too, given the energies involved. The gravitational binding energy of Earth is something like 2.5 * 10^32 joules.

An apocalypse is something people can survive. This would be way beyond that.

I will HAPPILY sell you lack-of-gravity insurance. Premiums are reasonable - you pay me $100/month and if you are inconvenienced in any way by the scheduled lack of gravity in August, I will pay you a zillion skillion dollars.

You can trust me. I’m a blacksmith.

Alec Baldwin Amplifies Bonkers Beatles Conspiracy Theory

In a comment on a video of a Beatles rehearsal from 1969, the Oscar-nominated actor shared his insights into what was really going on between bandmates John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

“I think it’s clear that these two were in love,” Baldwin wrote. “And a certain third party is thinking ‘I’ve got to put an end to this.’”

The third party in question is Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono, who has long been accused of breaking up the Beatles. In the clip, she can be seen watching sullenly as Lennon and McCartney share a microphone.

That Lennon and McCartney were in a secret gay relationship has frequently been the subject of semi-serious discussion among Beatles fans. At the time of the recording, homosexuality had only been partially decriminalized in the U.K. for two years.

However, Beatles biographer Ian Leslie, who penned last year’s John and Paul: A Love Story Told in Songs, concluded that while there was an “erotic component” to their relationship, the pair never had a sexual relationship.
