Sue Kern, president of the Brainerd School Board in Minnesota, asked "Darwin’s theory was done in the mid-1800s and it’s never been proven. So I’m wondering why we’re still teaching it?"

A pair of Dutch YouTube personalities ended up in lockup after being arrested Tuesday on accusations of trespassing at the Nevada National Security Site outside Area 51 — the Air Force facility that’s best known for conspiracies about UFOs and alien encounters.

One of the men said in a jailhouse interview with a Nevada TV station that a local woman who told them about “Storm Area 51″ — the alien desert festival turned viral Internet frenzy — stoked their interest in checking out the secure government site.

Ties Granzier, 20, and Govert Sweep, 21, were each charged with trespassing and held at the Nye County Detention Center, roughly 250 miles north of Las Vegas, according to the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Arizona community college fires professor who promoted QAnon conspiracy theory in class

Quote:At the beginning of the fall semester at Mesa Community College, English professor Douglas Belmore reportedly showed students a 14-minute video about the unfounded theory, which claims a conspiracy of Satanists and pedophiles control the world and that President Trump is secretly undermining them.

Michio Kaku is changing his name into Michio Kaka

Quote:Kaku said. “It used to be that believers had to prove that these objects were from an intelligent race in outer space. Now the burden of proof is on the government to prove they’re not from intelligent beings in outer space.”

But hey, even Kaku has a price on his credentials

Quote:ticket prices for the three-day Ufology World Congress, which ranged up to $1,600 for premium seating and a “meet-and-greet” with Kaku.

And people certainly didn't pay $1,6k just so Kaku tells them "Oh sorry nothing there, now move along."

It's so sad how desperate people are to find any and I mean ANY fantasy to believe in.

A Catholic News outlet came out with an article linking a drug used to treat gender dysphoria in young people with thousands of deaths. Turns out the drug is also used to treat terminal cancer patients, but the story has gone viral in the usual circles.

So according to Spanish law, the gang rape of a 14 year old girl wasn’t rape because she was unconscious and didn’t fight back.

How fucked up is that?
