Texas Law could circumvent Roe V. Wade

Every day I feel more and more glad not to live in the USA

I wonder how many Texas women will tell them to go fuck themselves and move out of state?

Couldn' t blame them if they did.

They just did.

That the US Supreme Court did nothing to stop this says what we need to know.

Might be time to start adding to the number of judges.

The most common argument made by nutters who try to pass laws like these is also the most hypocritical: that life beings at conception, therefore a foetus is a person so abortion is murder. They don’t believe it, and they KNOW they don’t believe it.

The only way I could see this making sense is if he also stipulates that the government has no say in abortion to begin with.
Otherwise, it sounds like he's saying, "It's unconstitutional for the government to say that abortion is legal, but not for it to say it's illegal."
While sometimes the Libertarians come off as wack-a-doodle, at least in some issues, like abortion, they have an internal consistency, unlike the GQP. Tongue

Then the R's will add some when they get back in the position to do so --- pretty soon you will have hundreds on the bench.......

And hey - they still die and retire - so whoever is in office gets to replace them......

Long term - adding members is a very bad idea...
