And this is bullshit I've heard from the Pope as well: they think there is some propaganda pressed on people to have joyful sex "It all started in the 1960s when people were told they are allowed to have sex out of wedlock and the whole hell broke loose"
If you are only going to have sex while being married, you would have to get married very young which is what mormons do.
This creates a new problem. Now, you have kids with someone you don’t like anymore after a few years. So, you end up unhappy.
Either you get divorced or you obey your church and stay married. Both conditions will lead to unhappiness.
Or maybe, you want to be divorced and live alone for the rest of your life which gives you happiness.
Or maybe, you want to marry someone else and be happy.
The other problem with getting married and having kids at a young age is that it interferes with modern life: living in a city, going to university.
In the old days, this wasn’t a problem. People were married at age 14 and they started taking care of the farm and pumping out kids to work on the farm.
Very few people keep the same friends as they had as kids all the way into adulthood.
So, what are the chances that you want to stay with the same guy/gal until you die at age 80?
What about contraception? Shouldn’t that be banned according to christianity?
What if I don’t want having 80 kids.
I would love if these guys come to these forums and offer solutions.

I saw this guy on youtube where I clicked on his Twitter acc and discovered this gem
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I can't think of an unstupid thing that religious people say.

Abp. Cordileone condemns abortion as ‘satanic worship,’ LGBT ideology as ‘demonic’
The pagan worship of the false god “Moloch” is similar to the worship of abortion today, the archbishop of the Archdiocese of San Francisco said at the March 25 conference.
Pagan worship is “in a certain sense, in a new kind of way, reviving now, and it is part of satanic worship, the abortion and sacrificing [of] children,” the archbishop said. He noted that the Satanic Temple challenged Texas’ novel pro-life heartbeat bill that allowed for private lawsuits against individuals who facilitated abortions. It has also challenged pro-life laws in Indiana and Missouri.
Cordileone also called the the push by pro-LGBT activists to erase the differences between men and women “demonic.”
"We have to live, and it’s really living with the the spiritual resources that God gives us through prayer and, especially, the prayer of the Rosary. We know the devil hates the Rosary."

Catholic news channel brings you a warning about... Board game marketed as ‘Christian’ is actually demonic
Catholic exorcist Father Ernesto Caro is warning that what is being marketed on Amazon as a Christian “Holy Spirit” board game is “not a game” at all but instead “a trap from the devil.”
