End Times cults have already employed the concept. I guess it's too scary an idea for theists.

They all scream about their undying love for jebus, but none of them actually want to meet him.
I mean, he is brown after all.

I knew a guy back in the '60s, as a fellow HS student, whose mother was into the end times in a big way; always talking about it. I guess that her time is probably ended by now. I didn't hang out with him much. His mom was crazy.

“Cars can’t be real because horses.”
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Black theists sure do like to perpetuate the stereotype that black people are stupid.

I just watched a YouTube video in which Kent Hovind claimed that there was absolutely no evidence for evolution, abiogenesis, the origin of the universe, or the age of the earth, except for what's claimed in the Bible. This from a guy with a phony Ph.D. with no standing in the scientific community who has been criticized for his whacky ideas even by his fellow creationists.
