Shatner Launch

RE: Shatner Launch
He deserves the title of astronaut.

You go ride a controlled explosion up a couple hundred thousand feet and make it back - you get the title too.....

It' s about as close to flying an airplane as riding a bus is to being launched out of a cannon....

I wonder about the small things. Do we know if Billy was catheritized or butt plugged/flushed out? He is 90 after all.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

He’s a helluva lot closer to ‘cargo’ than ‘astronaut’.

Analogy? Metaphor?

No, you used neither analogy nor metaphor.

The only reason I would have watched William Shatner fly to space would be the same reason I’d watch a stock car race: hoping for a crash.

I think there was an original Star Trek episode titled "The Trouble With Boru's"

NO, sorry, it was called "The Trouble With Tribbles".

But you are absolutely correct that people watch track car racing for the potential of accidents. We are a sadistic species.

I thought he did a great job in the original series. And I liked him more in T.J Hooker.

So do you think his opinion about space and spaceflight is irrelivant?
