Wow, my apologies because I thought you kill them because you have kind of a fetish for guns and killing creatures, but you are actually doing it for altruistic reasons.

Because yes, roads and humans, in general, would be so much safer if there weren't any animals around.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I recall a sage who called me wastrel for admitting that I kill for pure joy of killing........
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

To do that much damage to a car, it was probably a red deer. Big buggers. They cause the occasional car crash here, never heard of fatalities.

They are 99.99% Whitetail deer. Rarely a mule deer slips in.

I suppose the damage depends greatly on the impact speed. I know at about 45 mph running into one with a Triumph chopper bent up the front end of the bike and broke my right knee. (Some reason it' s ALWAYS my right leg)

Speeds on that road tend up to 80 mph/130 kph...

Yeah, my bad for misreading the article. I saw 'Holland' and 'Zeeland' and assumed the crash happened in the Netherlands. Mea maxima culpa.

In one of our cities there is a white tail cull hunt every year. I've only seen one whitey road kill so far this year but then I'm traveling less with covid. I know our state averages >2500/year. I carry a dispatching "tool" in my car for when I come across those unfortunates not killed instantly and left to die.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

You don't have to be a Vegetarian to make the statement he did

No, because the moral question for vegetarians isn't about species

Lastly by your logic if an animal moving out in front of a vehicle is a justification for hunting it. Then you must be totally fine with hunting humans.
