The problem with "Hate crimes".

Point is, for something to count as a hate crime, it has to involve something that’s already a crime, not just generally expressing hate for a group.

OFC, as made perfectly clear in the statutes. That doesn't much matter to folks like our friend OLB, who feel as though their conscience convicts them of crimes they don't believe should be punished, or even be punishable.
