Meh. Life’s inherently meaningless and unfair anyway, right? Quit whining.

You're just a bad person, and if you didn't want me to think you were a good person, you wouldn't have been going on and on about the sacrifices you've made for your children, and how you're such a hard worker, etc. You're so weak-minded that you can't even recognize your own moral grandstanding for what it is.

social programs/advocacy/charity/volunteering are not fundamental solutions.
This question has been pondered on for a millennia. Just read up, man. There's a whole fucking religion dedicated to figuring out what suffering is and how to escape it. Check it out, may be a good fit for you.

I’m completely ambivalent about whether you think I’m a good person or not. You can read any of my comments as the worlds literal worst person somehow stumbling into decent outcomes. The worse you think of me, the worse for your arguments.

Well yeah, that's what I mean. What would the "dissolution" of one person accomplish?
There is really no doubt that my pathological irresponsibility makes me believe these things, but at the same time, it's not like anything I'm saying is untrue. It's pretty much all true.
You're mentally ill; I just hope that you are not dangerous, also.

This question has been pondered on for a millennia. Just read up, man. There's a whole fucking religion dedicated to figuring out what suffering is and how to escape it. Check it out, may be a good fit for you. And yet suffering still exists. So obviously, that religion is not a good solution.

I understand the appeal of those things. But they really aren't the only fun things in life. Finding pleasure in constructive pursuits is kind of what being mature means.
I think you're right to focus on pleasure, but the trick is aiming it the right way.
