I've heard that line from numerous theists or Christians groups since I was a kid. It's always turned out to be a load of bunk. Jesus promised to return within the lifetimes of his immediate followers and failed. Apologists have been backpedaling ever since. The Second Coming is nothing but a pipe dream. Get over it.
