94f, 88%humidity. The nights are rough. I've had my kids out making me a pepper garden - perfect weather for it - just shovels and hoes and me with the hose.
You know..for motivation. Standing there under the shade of the peach tree..spraying them down, pullin on a red..beer in hand.....talkin shit in sing-song. They love it. Dad of the year for sure. The puppies look about to die. I've got them in the house and getting cold baths every day in an old horse waterer. They live under the shop fan. Just big white puffballs. The Wife met some folks we wanted to be friends. I remember they heard what I did and by way of small talk, I think it was last july4 - the husband says "so you're pretty busy this time of year, huh?". I'm like "Fuck no! It's hot". Why do they think we had so many kids?

NZ just had several months worth of rain and a year's worth of lightning strikes.
In three days!
Guess god is pissed with me about that sacrifice I made to myself.
Still missed, though!
