Roe v. Wade is gone.

So you are saying god doesn’t make the choice what egg gets fertilized?

It at least know in advance who will be born and who won’t?

Ever ask a nutty xian what happens to the aborted babies soul?

Watch them do the gymnastics explaining going instantly to heaven without the birth life death test is wrong.

So apparently if a 10-year-old is raped and has an abortion it's somehow not an abortion?

In the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, several Latin American countries have moved in the opposite direction – including Colombia. The country now has one of the most progressive abortion laws in the Americas.

So, in Columbia abortion is allowed up to 24 weeks

There are places in the middle east with less restrictive abortion laws then some US states

Now some right-wing loons think the Ohio abortion ban covers 10-year-old pregnancies. This is of course false.

The girl's condition neither falls under an existing medical condition that is immediately life-threatening nor is a medical condition that would result in impairment. At least no more so than a million other factors (like being above 35 or African American ) would fall under.

I would have thought that a 10 year old trying to bring up a child would badly impair her development

Assuming that she survives the birthing process.

To be fair she could have the baby and adopt it out.

A 10-year-old can birth children. There is of course risk but no more so than a million other factors that make pregnancy risky.

By all standards of pediatric medicine, her risk is higher, and I would be amazed if any expert would claim otherwise!

Well in the article I linked two medical experts have claimed otherwise. They make no such distinction.
