Am I allowed to be very concerned that the Republican Party seems to be operating in bad faith? As in, they would gladly let America get nukes by China or Russia or let the economy completely tank or devolve into a civil war as long as they can blame it on a democrat. McConnell the geriatric turtle is the worst of all. He set records for filibuster use and even filibustered a Supreme Court pick. They spent years complaining about how bad Obamacare was, but when they had a chance to repeal it, the only change they made is that they started calling it the affordable care act. They were all over the stimulus checks in 2020, until Trump lost the election and then it took a lot of arm twisting to get a few on board.

And I don’t doubt right wing “News” is why they’re so crazy. Either they feed the hysteria of it or they follow it’s talking points because they know they’re slaves to right wing media or they’re so crazy they’re genuine believers. Regardless of why, the insanity talk about on Fox News determines how they legislate.

Pennsylvania Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano, a Christian nationalist, said that it’s “disgusting” that the state’s current Governor Tom Wolf issued an executive order against so-called conversion therapy, a widely discredited form of psychological torture that purports to change people’s sexual orientations and gender identities.

“This is disgusting to me, where bureaucrats and Tom Wolf — and Josh Shapiro — thinks it’s okay to come in and threaten parents and therapists because their kids might be confused,” Mastriano said in his radio interview.

The interviewer, Michele Jansen, said she also opposed Wolf’s executive order, adding “[the LGBTQ movement is] an activist, political, ideological group. They’re not an ethnicity. They’re not a community of people.”

The Colorado right-winger made the claims during a rant in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Democrat president Joe Biden’s plans to scrap up to $20,000 of student debt for millions of Americans.

It’s a fairly innocuous message from a political leader – “Our party will win the next election” – but Greene responded by accusing him of “perverse child abuse.”

House conservatives prep plans to impeach Biden

A number of rank-and-file conservatives have already introduced impeachment articles in the current Congress against the president. They accuse Biden of committing “high crimes” in his approach to a range of issues touching on border enforcement, the coronavirus pandemic and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.

Those resolutions never had a chance of seeing the light of day, with Democrats holding a narrow control of the lower chamber. But with Republicans widely expected to win the House majority in the midterms, many of those same conservatives want to tap their new potential powers to oust a president they deem unfit. Some would like to make it a first order of business.

“I have consistently said President Biden should be impeached for intentionally opening our border and making Americans less safe,” said Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.). “Congress has a duty to hold the President accountable for this and any other failures of his Constitutional responsibilities, so a new Republican majority must be prepared to aggressively conduct oversight on day one.
