Welcome R-Farmer, I hope you like it here! I would advise you to try to avoid over-generalizing agnotics and athesists. We're very diverse, apart from one opinion on one topic. This particular forum leans towards rational humanism; but there are way more atheists in China who don't, for instance.

I always Try to speak to individuals and the things they share with me. If however a generalized subject comes up and I am asked to make a generalized observation about a different group (Do you think mormons are christian or do atheist will get a second chance in heaven? Will I be free to answer with out sanction? I've been part of other websites where they bait you with a question like that, and then ban you for hate speech. (mormon question on reddit in a christian sub.)

Topics are largely unrestricted, but we do ask that you put them in the appropriate subforum. It's not something that'll get you banned or even warned, but the administrators will have to move it and we're a notoriously lazy bunch. Smile

If you're unsure about something you'd like to post, 1) check the Rules and/or 2) submit a query in the 'Questions for Staff' forum.

Welcome!

Boru
Ok thanks. I don't generally post topics. as most could be considered postalizing. In addition to it being against the rules.. I find keeping up with a subject like that in an atheist form to be at best 'difficult.'  I'm more into the challenge of answering questions and getting a different pov of religion/God that come in the way of the questions people ask and the things they want to talk about.

Nothing like that, more like blowback from other posters if they think you're being fallaciously wrong. The rules here are reasonable IMHO and the mods wise to someone deliberately trying to provoke a rule-breaking infringement.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

My herding dogs could use a new distraction. Can't have sheep in my hood but can have 'pet' goats.

I'd have to muzzzle our female, she's a bit of a killer (rabbits don't exist long in our back yard). Panic

As soon as he arrives I'll partially hobble him. Sounds like I'll need to reinforce the fence also.

It's always something, am I right? Hilarious
