RE: Free Will Theodicy
There isn't a single christian in the world who doesn't think that stringing up some jew was a good deal for them. Food for thought. I tend to agree, though, the only thing objectionable about most christians, is that one little issue there. We all have our hangups.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well Jesus was supposed to get strung up in the first place. He knew what was going to happen, and accepted it.

According to U.S. law, you can't sell yourself into slavery as slavery is illegal regardless of your consent. I'm sure a like principle would apply here.

What? No? This wasn't the U.S., this was thousands of years ago in a different part of the world.

Well Calvinism doesn't mean all forms of Christianity. I know a devout and very sincere Christian (in real life) who does believe in free will.

Ask that person if the had the free will to be born or not.

Then ask at what stage of a human life does god grant free will?

A person has free will as soon as their stream of consciousness begins.

Well mine started when I was about 3 or 4 years old. It wouldn't be the same for every person.
