Elliott Page is an actor who was born a woman, possesses female equipment and DNA, and now claims to be a man. I was born as a man possessing male DNA and male equipment and also claim to be a man. What is the common thread between they and me that we share to identify as men?

You both feel more comfortable assuming the social role that, by a range of historical contingent circumstances some of which are quite disgracefully discreditable, the culture considered to be that of the men.

Are people with androgen insensitivity syndrome men or women? What decides the answer here? They typically look womanly on the outside, but they have male chromosomes, and they lack wombs. So maybe it all comes down to what genitals they possess, or is it maybe something to do with whether you have wombs or not?

Is it strictly to do with genitals? Then what about intersex people then, especially those who may possess both male and female genitalia?

This is a subject far more complex than what you make it out to be.

You're talking about a physical anomaly, not 99.99% of transgenders.

I'll answer all your questions at once. I think it's the DNA. They can act as they wish. I'm sorry because I come off as cold-blooded. When I debate I concentrate on the facts. I'm really concerned about how tough it is for people who go through this. I just don't think we help people by creating a lie. How about the thousands of people who want to go back and it's too late?

It would be more honest to say "I was born a woman, but always felt like a man".  That's the truth, rather than saying "I am now a man".
