Just passing through. Found this Amazing Study from Dr. Jeffrey Tomkins. Can't believe I hadn't heard of it before today. Here it is:

1. "A preliminary study was performed by Tomkins comparing 40,000 chimpanzee genomic sequences against the human genome which indicated that reported levels of human-chimp DNA similarity were significantly lower than commonly reported. The present, follow-up study was then completed in which chimp chromosomes were sliced into new individual query files of varying string lengths and queried against their human chromosome homolog. This allowed for comparisons to be optimized irrespective of the linear order of genes and sequence features. The definition of similarity was the amount (percent) of optimally aligned chimp DNA. For the chimp autosomes, the amount of optimally aligned DNA sequence provided similarities between 66 and 76 percent, depending on the chromosome. Only 69 percent of the chimpanzee X chromosome was similar to human and only 43 percent of the Y chromosome. Genome-wide, only 70% of the chimpanzee DNA was similar to human under the most optimal alignment conditions. While, chimpanzees and humans share many localized protein-coding regions of high similarity, the overall extreme discontinuity between the two genomes defies evolutionary time-scales and dogmatic presuppositions about a common ancestor." The Whole World knows Christendom stands with Israel sometimes against the world, it was through Christians that Israel got its land back, it is through Christians that Israel has all the military help needed to defend itself against its enemies who hate and want to destroy her. Therefore, we Christians are not anti-semites but philo-semites. We love our Jewish Friends and we want them above all to come to Eternal Happiness in Rabbi Yeshua, or Jesus Christ, their Jewish Messiah. The debate between Christians and Jews was never about race or racial hatred or anything stupid like that but, as I explained in the Isaiah 53 thread, whether Jesus Christ had fulfilled the Messianic Prophecies or not, as we believe He has. 

When a person abuses or insults Jesus or Mary, whether he is a Jew, Muslim, or sometimes Protestant, of course Catholic Christians respond strongly to that, not because we don't love the person who abused Them, which we do, but because we also love Jesus and Mary and don't want them to be spoken of like that. Jesus and Mary were the most harmless souls who ever existed and didn't do anything to deserve being slandered.

What Pope Ven. Pius XII did speaks for itself: he, in the name of the Catholic Church, loved our Jewish Friends and saved - the lives - of nearly 1 MN of them. God bless them, and God bless the Holy Father for doing that.

If humans and chimps really share a common ancestor, we would not see such drastic divergence in the respective genomes.
