Nah, I'm talking about REAL sailors, not boys in their dress whites drinking shandies and pink umbrella drinks.

What distinguishes REAL sailors?   Rum, lash and sodomy?

Nope. Spinach and an anorexic girlfriend.

Yeah the guy who opened Africa to colonialism which lead to all the horrors that came from that

These are your heroes? Also, Christianity doesn't get credit for fixing a problem it helped cause.

You're a thankless shithead to all the heros of the past who made incredibly difficult incremental progress towards the recognition of human rights that now, in retrospect, seem obvious. But they definitly were not obvious back then.

First off I don't owe long-dead politicians thanks and it's irrelevant as my point stands if he can condemn other historical figures for their faults I can condemn his heroes for theirs if he wants to play that game he needs to understand it's a two-way street. Also, screw you, you pompous windbag.

They're no more obvious now than they were then. A commitment to human rights is fulfilled and must be renewed in every moment. Having one half-kind thought in a lifetime means absolutely nothing to human rights. There is no incremental progress in human rights. You either have rights, as a human, or you don't - and that's the end of it. Check your nearest mass grave for confirmation.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You are all completely missing my point. Which was if  NX can Condemn other historical figures for holding views that were unenlightened I can do the same for the people he cites as heroes.
