No, it isn't. Christianity can be disproved logically and historically from just its basic premises. It happens on this forum all the time. Reading the Bible is a great help, but deep study isn't required. Similar to how one doesn't need a degree in physics to show that rocks don't fall upwards.

Can you tell me more about that?

Well obviously, you're not competent to do anything yourself.
And BTW, yes I do. Then get her books.
She is accepted as the world expert on the subject.
If you can't be bothered to do the work, ... then fuck off.

Yet many Christians who are far less competent than I am (knowing no ancient language) think they are competent enough to claim the Bible says the Earth is flat or the universe is less than 10'000 years old. And not only that the Bible says that, but that it actually is that way.

Gerund of... which verb? Gerund is a noun made from a verb, the "-ing" nouns in English.

Oops, my mistake. I didn’t mean ‘infarcative gerund’. I meant ‘hypermodal adjectiverb.’

I could, but then what would happen to your search for knowledge?

Those are such a bitch when you are diagramming sentences.

Boru

It's not the same thing to link to something written in a foreign language and to link to something spoken in a foreign language.

It’s exactly the same thing. In fact, you’re better off because you speak English, whereas no one here (but you) speaks or reads Croatian.

I thought Google Translate was far better at translating written languages than spoken languages, if it supported spoken Croatian at all.

I Googled "adjectiverb", but I found nothing relevant.
