Aiming for a hospital, how do we know? Did it hit a kindergarten?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

-as a disclaimer, the russians I served with were professionals. I want to say that I have no idea wtf happened to them in the interim...but I do know. They had their own magat movement. Thank god.

War broke out and all the clever ones moved West.   That's a shame, because I rather like their Soyuz spacecraft, the old workhorse. And their classical music.  And Andrei Tarkovsky films.

They had nice hats. You could turn $20 in the px to m&m's, those m&m's into furry hats, the furry hats into usd back home, the usd back home into liquor through post, liquor through post sold like crack in islamist communities, which got you more usd for m&m's at the px.

It's a virtuous cycle.

I tell this story and sometimes people ask me "yeah, but, if you were gonna sell merch, why not sell weapons?" Easy. We all had plenty of those. It was weird little shit where coin was made. I actually hate to think that some of My Guys are the ones getting wrecked in UKR right now, and probably most of them left the service asap...but there must be a few left..or, at least, there must have been a few left. Shot at UKR like a payload to Mun. 20 years ago, I was the guy telling other usians that we should identify more with russians. Didn't have the benefit of a crystal ball. Then again, the kind of folks I was talking to twenty years ago are probably in the tank for russia right now.

The Russian lander apparently failed because the braking engines started as planned but would not shut off, killing too much velocity and orbital energy, resulting in a crash.

They must have parted out an Iranian kamikaze drone for the solenoid valve.
