Is atheism worth living for?

Those religious people who believe they are going to Heaven are trying to take advantage of those who don't know better by manipulating them to join their religion, by the way. In other words, religion, as well as Heaven, is more strict, far more strict than free, and is a hindrance to style, life, knowledge, etc. that is an excuse for people to do bad things to others that are not the same as them and Heaven is just for those people only who practice religion and meet the requirements or live the simulation they believe is real to go to Heaven. Everyone else actually goes to Hell, because they are not fitting to go to God's Heaven or are not believing in them, despite what people may say about everyone goes to Heaven. Religion and Heaven is not that open-mind.

It seems to me that religious people hide truths about what Heaven is and try to get people to join them while hiding who religion is really for.

Also, about the part of God telling a person to be a bigot, if that is what people think God would do, then God is a horrible being, even though he is just a psychological need of people.

Sorry for the rant, I just wanted to comment on what you said.

Fairly incoherent, overall. I'd also like to point out that reality doesn't give a damn what you "feel".

Indeed, how does that work? It's a ridiculous notion that because believers need their beliefs to be worth living for, so too must atheists need their disbelief in order to find meaning. The search for meaning and purpose in one's life is intensely personal. It's really kinda condescending. My life doesn't revolve around the belief or disbelief in anyone's god. I have my own purposes in life and don't give a shit what anyone else thinks.

Show me one man who is "perfect". And failing that, I will show you a flawed godhead.

The best thing about being the atheist, all those tasty baby souls. Not only are they succulent and sweet, they provide me with immortality.

I ask you, how is that not worth living for?

Sorry about that. You are anything but wrong though, reality indeed does not give a care for what people feel, as you said.

RE: Is atheism worth living for?
Anyway, I guess what I was trying to say in my first post on this topic a page back, and as an attempt to simply put it...

I believe religion hides things from people, and religious people say otherwise and don't tell others who are different or non-religious people things to try to get them on their good side.

And if there was a Heaven, it is for the religious people and the religious bigots who do what God say, even if it is bad. Perhaps, and just perhaps, everyone else is going to Hell.

That is how I am seeing some religious people. I could be wrong, though.

If you didn't believe in God, you'd be a slave to religion.
