teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Trailer for Spielberg’s UFO Movie Releases This Month

Here’s a major update on that mysterious Spielberg movie, which is still untitled. A reporter from DanielRPK has the first trailer attached to “Avatar: Fire and Ash” screenings starting December 19.

Maybe we’ll finally get a title. No word yet on when it could show up online, but between Nolan’s “The Odyssey” and “Avengers: Doomsday” having their respective trailers attached to “Fire and Ash,” and now Spielberg’s latest, buying a ticket to the third “Avatar” has no doubt become a tad more enticing for some moviegoers.

Footage of Spielberg’s film was recently unveiled during a special event at Universal Pictures, when they dedicated a new “Spielberg” theater. According to reports, the preview showed action sequences — including chase scenes, mysterious “men in black”‑style cars, and a dramatic car‑train crash escape involving Emily Blunt’s character.

But what if the Spielberg's UFO movie is the disclosure we've been waiting for? What if it starts with Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump saying: "What you are about to see is all true and this is what we've been hiding from you."

The Original Theatrical Cut of ‘Star Wars’ Is Coming Back to Theaters

Quote:A day Star Wars fans never thought would happen is finally happening. Lucasfilm and Disney are rereleasing the original version of Star Wars in theaters for its 50th anniversary. It’ll happen on February 17, 2027, and io9 has confirmed with Lucasfilm that it is, in fact, the original theatrical cut of the movie.

Repeat: The Original Star Wars is finally being given an official re-release. This is not a drill. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

This, however, is a drill:

Yeah, that will be in 2027 and it will be retouched for digital projectors.

Meanwhile, Stallone got a medal from the president.

During the Soviet era, Sylvester Stallone played the iconic Rocky who defeated the Russian KGB boxer Ivan Drago. Now Sly is a proud Russian KGB MAGA sucker.

I was going to add “technically a proud Russian SVR MAGA sucker”, but then my eyes noticed the middle of the photo and I wondered why the fuck there were two Tommy Wiseaus standing behind Trump.

Ah, I remember as a kid watching the old Supergirl movie on VHS and being very disappointed. It was like watching a Superman movie, but without Superman: many of his friends were here, and she frequently talked about him. I even wanted to put the additional tape of Superman into the VCR so that he shows up in the movie.

Since then I could never watch any of the Supergirl iteration. She seems like an unimaginative character: like Superman, but with a vagina.

I think this movie will deal with her angst: sent to Earth to protect Kal-El but due to timey-wimey stuff, he's already grown up and adcting as Superman by the time she gets there. Hence, the drinking and spoiled dog.

Looking at the trailer and her cameo in this year’s Superman movie, it seems like Supergirl is basically a super powered version of Sarah Lynn from Bojack Horseman, but at least she looks competent in her heroics.
