During the Trump administration, people were doing well and were hopeful. During the Biden administration people have developed a feeling of hopelessness.  

Why do I get the feeling this unevidenced rhetoric is referring to how you felt?

It's time for people to come together as fellow Americans, not as separate groups according to race, color, nationality, etc. 

Come together how? Do you imagine the divisive and racist rhetoric espoused relentlessly by Trump, is something people of differing ethnicities can unite over? I'd think they should all be equally appalled at least, by his racist bigotry, and misogynistic rhetoric. It is simply comical to try and paint Biden as a source of division, when you're championing a man who espouses divisive and dangerous rhetoric relentlessly. Was it meant as levity?

All I've seen from Biden and the Dems is pitting one group against another. The country hasn't been this divided since the civil war. All this under the president who was supposed to bring us all together.

Well I am sure you'll understand if even after a short time I don't view your opinion as unbiased. The second sentence just seems like rhetoric, and divided on political issues is not in and of itself a bad thing, especially in a democracy, the last sentence is pretty funny, if Biden loses do you imagine for even a moment that will he violate his oath to the constitution, in the way Trump did when he lost the last election, by inciting his followers to march on the government and fight like hell to stop the peaceful transition of power in a legal election?

I think even you will struggle to spin those facts to imply Biden is the one causing division. Odd how I seem more appalled by that insurrection than you, and I am a UK citizen. If Trump had been jailed for any number of legal infractions that deserve it, he might not now be threatening revenge on political opponents if he again becomes president, and I see nothing in those threats that suggest he wants unity, unless it is solely on his terms. His threats are well documented, and encompasse both the highest ranking officials and ordinary citizens who have exercised their constitutional rights to oppose his political views. 

It's my opinion that Trump is as grave a threat democracy and the US constitution have faced since WWII.

All of that having been said, most of what drove the surge in crime was beyond Trump’s control. But this isn’t a courtesy Trump has given his opponents.

Back in 2016, Trump and his surrogates blamed Barack Obama for a surge in crime that never happened. They’re now doing the same thing to Biden. So it only seems fair to point out that the only major surge in crime in 40 years occurred while Trump was in the White House.

Slow recovery from the 2008 recession, the pandemic, and your central bank keeping interest rates high. It wasn’t anything Trump did - ANY president at that time would have seen low inflation.
