My wondering is more along the thought process of which jobs specifically are undocumented immigrants taking away from everyone else. After all, if it's so easy to get these jobs without proper documentation, why aren't more Americans doing it?

You know, for years and years I strived to be a premiere tomato-picker. I deliberately bent my back to unhealthy angles while carrying tens of pounds of weight under a very bright and hot sun, with little water and only giving myself a fifteen-minute lunch-break -- not even being paid, I was only training for the big game! -- and then some sorry brown sonofabitch came along swimming over the river and stole my 5th Avenue meal-ticket.

I think I know the answer already, but do you not see the irony is responding to an objection to your use of pure rhetoric, with more rhetoric? Theists often do this when they present poor evidence, they offer more of it thinking it adds up to something compelling, it's bizarre, but 0 + 0 isn't two, it's 0. 

Without engaging anyone, go back through this entire thread and count the number of citations you have offered to support your claims, how often did you look for multiple sources to check any subjective bias, for example just searching online for what you wanted to support your position, and not looking for evidence that would suggest it wasn't true? 

Critical thinking is not magic, it is merely a tool one employs if one cares that what one believes is true. Yet most people never use it. Rhetoric is of no value at all in validating anything, that's why unscrupulous politicians use it so easily and to such effect, because people rarely are sceptical when hearing what they want to hear, and appealing to people's base fears and ignorance with rhetoric is both easy and dangerous. It works best when people are genuinely suffering of course, but that's not necessary. 

Convincing a slight majority they'd be better off by demonising a minority is nothing new, Hitler used it to great effect, and he was of course not the first, nor sadly will he be the last.

Wanting to reduce illegal immigration, and control immigration need not involve demonising or persecuting people to whom that process is likely beyond reach, and so enter the country illegally. Even if you decide ultimately not to let someone stay, there is no need to persecute them, or demonise them with bigoted rhetoric, as of course Trump does, nor indeed is there any need to punish them beyond not letting them stay. Wouldn't you do anything to lift those you love out of crushing poverty?

You are citing something many might agree with, at least in principle, but you're mendaciously pretending this is their main objection, when it is more likely they object to how Trump portrays and treats illegal immigrants. 

Parenthetically, if your only objection is that they have broken the law, then your hero worship of Trump is pretty ironic, given his contempt for the law, and his oath to uphold the constitution. Or do your objections go further perhaps, in which case why mislead with straw men like this?
