The Kalam Cosmological Argument
#71
RE: The Kalam Cosmological Argument
Plantingas satisfies that condition - it's a successful argument. A rational person can doubt it's assertions - but a rational person could also accept them.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Well, like I said, I haven't seen it.

Provide it. If you can.

Because there isn't anything obviously wrong with the form of the argument or it's assertions - a unique condition in the history of apologetics.

Of course there is - he fails to define ‘omniscient’ and ‘omnipotent’ in a way that makes those qualities non-contradictory. If the principle of non-contradiction is present in the argument, it becomes irrational. How is a non-rational argument ‘successful’?

RE: The Kalam Cosmological Argument
Omnipotence, to plantinga, is the ability to do anything that is possible. Similarly, his definition of omniscience is knowing everything that can be known. Thus, in plantingas view, there are things that gods cant do or know.

It's not clear why being able to do any possible thing would make it impossible to know any thing that could be known, or vv.

You must mean the proof that a successful argument for god exists - and I again suggest you use the internet I know you have.

Why can't you post it here for us to discuss it?
