Are Catholics The Most Criminal?

RE: Are Catholics The Most Criminal?
Do we know how many imams may have abused their positions and got official protection after the fact?

Which religion is most criminal in nature?

It's unfair to single out the criminal element. Even law-abiding Catholics don't embrace Catholicism.

wel well wel, catholocism with its possibility to repent even from the most disgusting crime is a god candidate for criminals that do not want to have conflicts with their consciousness, it is very well known that Mafia padrinos have private chapels and even when they are on the run they have priests that come on Sunday in their bunkers to give them ùmass & holy communion
I agree anyway that Jew & Muslims hate especially each other more and there are a lot of muslim criminal gangs, for example the Mokro Mafia from tha Atlas mountain in Morocco now well established in the Netherlands & Germany.
There are also a lot of Jew organized crime gangs and even shintoist in Japan, though their Yakuza is slightly different from what we westerner think a "organized crime" is

I think it is the Catholics, hands down.

Sure, evangelicals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Islam have their examples.

But no one has had the built in mechanisms to shuttle pedo priests around for decades, not reporting them to law enforcement, the Vatican bank has had quite a few major scandals over their history, the Vatican's history with Hitler and collecting art confiscated from Jews during the Holocaust, their backroom dealings with the Mafia. The fact that their art and property holdings alone, if sold, could probably lift some countries out of poverty.

Hell, there are even some credible cases of the Vatican ordering hits.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

It's largely due to Catholicism appealing to the lower classes who resort to those criminal enterprises to survive; same reason that Muslims in the West have above average statistics in certain gang-related crimes while not having those statistics back East.

Pedophiles are attracted to institutions of power; hence the reason they also exist within the public school system, the police departments, political positions, medical and coaching fields, etc. - easy access to victims and the ability to cover it up.

Exorcisms aren't a crime, so idk what you mean there.

To answer your question, the easy answer is Islam; 14-16 of the top 20 countries by modern slavery populations are Islamic countries, and the legal slave markets of Mekka did not close until the 1960s.

As there are more slaves owned today than at any other part in human history it's just a sheer numbers game...

It’s a crime that exorcisms aren’t a crime.

While this may be true, none of those other institutions have the mechanisms to shuttle their pedophiles to other schools, police departments, hospitals, athletic teams, like the Catholic church does.

With those other institutions, for the most part, the crime ends with the individual perpetrator. With the church, the crime extends to the highest levels of the church for the cover up.

As BrianSoddingBoru4 said, they should be.

Depriving people of medical help for mental illness, should be a crime.

Christianity does not get a pass just because they beat Islam to ending slavery, that they justified by using the Bible.

Exodus 21, Leviticus 25, Ephesians 6, 1 Timothy make it clear that slavery is not condemned by Yahweh.

It is telling that Yahweh would go out of his way to tell people not to eat shellfish, but couldn't maybe mention, "hey, don't own people as property". Maybe an 11th commandment would have been nice?
