If a non-American English-speaking team wins the World Cup, Donald Trump may not be present at the award ceremony. His handlers are desperate to shield his fragile ego from hearing chants like, 'He is fat, he's got piles / He is in the Epstein files' and 'Aussie boys are on a bender / Donald Trump is a sex offender'.

Honestly, this doesn't seem like the worst idea.
“But, you know, honestly, I think it would be cool if they just let it [the reflecting pool] go and create an eco-system, have fish in there and everything and just let it go. I think it would be a cool way to go.” US Rep. Tom Burchett (R-Tenn).

It's an interesting idea, but between depth and lack of shade and habitat this doesn't seem very feasible (absent major rework).
