Trump's illegal actions since his inauguration have demonstrated, yet again, that he is a wannabe dictator.  He is still undermining the separation of powers.

I really hope he dies soon, for the sake of our democracy.  I hate his guts.

I hope that without Trump, Republicans will split into factions who will fight among themselves.  That's what usually happens when the leader of a personality cult dies.  The Christian Nationalists are just one faction.  Remember, Trump barely stands for anything consistent except for himself, and I'm sure that such selfishness is contagious.

Meanwhile Democrats will try to steer the country back toward its democratic norms, and will be more united against Republicans because of Trump.

However, that could be wishful thinking. I'm much more of a misanthropist now, post-Trump.

Civilians are not entitled to salute the Flag of the United States. Heel Spurs did just that prior to the Superbowl. Disgusting. Only those suckers and losers who served are entitled to salute the flag.

Of course he’s entitled to do so. That’s why the US Flag Code is full of words like ‘should’ and ‘may’ - the Code is a law without the force of law. It’s advisory only.
