A guy trying to play God for fame (Money)
Makes something hideous, the public dont like it. Monster goes on a rampage. Monster wants sympathy, monster kills girl. Mob kills monster.

I say thats a interesting morale of the story.

I considered it as much a story about treating people with respect, even if they are giant abominations. Seriously, much of the plot just wouldn’t have happened if Viktor Frankenstein had been around to show Adam some love and kindness, perhaps even slowly introducing the world around them to him.
