Nah it's surprising hear of an all-powerful God and you think " Hey why sitting back and letting us get slaughtered and oppressed seems a little odd"

Quote:I'm... going to keep my mouth shut on China and Iran, but I will at least say this... both countries have some of the world's largest Christian populations and I wouldn't want to be anything not communist and atheist there.
You seem to think either of those things would keep you safe in China. Last I checked Iran doesn't have a high opinion of Atheists nor are they particularly nice to Communists.

That has been a 2,000 year old dilemma for Christians and over 3,000 year old one for the Hebrew people; we dealt with it and figured it out, your inability to is not our concern.

Eritrea - "the North Korea of Africa."
Quote:Raids to round up believers who worship God outside of the recognized denominations are common. When Christians are caught in these raids, they can be sent into Eritrea's notorious prison network, where they can be detained indefinitely. Current estimates suggest around 1,000 Eritrean Christians are imprisoned—and they haven't been charged with any crime. Members of some house churches have been in prison for more than 10 years, enduring shocking conditions, including solitary confinement in tiny cells.

Nah you just pretend to have figured it out and dealt with it. It's not an inability on my part it's simply the fact it makes no sense.

Yeah, Eritrea is 47% Christian. So give it a break, troll.
Even your article states "Eritrea only recognizes three Christian denominations (Eritrean Orthodox, Roman Catholic and Lutheran)"
That doesn't sound that bad. Pity you didn't paste that part. And yeah, your source is again a Christian website that, like you, distorts what persecution is and what is actually happening.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
