Yes. However, both the cultural events you mention are traceable to the winter solstice and the spring equinox (with phase of moon annual adjustments), respectively. By “subsequent peer pressure", I was primarily thinking of weekly (sometimes daily) exposure to the particular religion’s rituals, dogma, expectations and fear via actual or implied threats.

A kid sees death, a parent offers up heaven.
An alcoholic starts the program and makes a friend.
A toddler trips out on a sugar high at church.
Some big shot offers a shepherd seventy two women if he'll ware a vest.

Its different for everybody. There is no blanket reason. Just like there is no one reason for why people reject faith and choose rationality. Gray is the order of the day for most of life.

But I think Geography explains the vast majority of what religion you may believe in. So nurture over nature when theology is involved. In the aggregate of course.

Beliefs aren't simply isolated bits of information that one agrees with. They are integrated and predictive mental models of the world.

And so, why do Christians believe in Jesus? For the same reasons anybody believes anything: Because the proposition integrates well within their broader web of beliefs and reduces it's entropy. In other words, because it makes sense to them.

Though it makes sense that a person believes something because it fits into their narrative, it doesn't make it right or true.

Jumping to mind are the anti-vaxxers...they believe the story and endanger themselves and others.

People believe in Jesus because the myth was created to be believed in by people who made it out of things they wanted to believe in.

This reminds me of all the fake quotes people invented that famous people said but didn't, and yet people keep sharing them and believing in them. Take the famous fake Einstein quote "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Which was also prominently featured in the Big Bang Theory TV show.

And this is hardly his only popular fake quote attributed to Einstein. There are others like
‘Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.’

‘If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, we can’t help wondering what an empty desk indicates.’

‘Creativity is contagious.’

‘A clever person solves a problem. A wise person avoids it.’

‘Any fool can know. The point is to understand.’

Thus this is why people rather believe in myths like in Genesis instead of evolution because Genesis was created to be believed in (appealing to our emotions, psychology and maybe even the anatomy of the brain), while evolution is just the fact.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

There's a grain of truth to this, but it's also the case many times that the cart leads the horse, with the belief and its justification co-evolving with each other.

And in your opinion why some of them assume that their type of relationship (its even questionable if it is their or they just obedient sub - u know usual one is sex only in marriage) is the correct one and how their view on what`s virtue vs vice is the right and universal/inherent one?

Reason differs depending on the individual.

One reason is people hear a nice story/message promoting divine love and forgiveness, are intensely moved by it, and are driven to believe it's true because of the strong emotions it inspires in them and the hope it gives them.

Another reason is finding something in the Scriptures that intellectually clicks with them, and suddenly it all makes sense to them after years of searching.

Another reason is Christianity is strongly ingrained in our traditions, and people just naturally see the foundation of truth in it.

Why christians believe in jesus is a different question than why people believe in jesus. Christians believe in jesus because they do not want to pay the self alleged price of their own self professed and profligate sins. Because they do not want to die. There are all sorts of other silly reasons for people to believe in jesus..but these two are the only two that are specifically, particularly, and self affirmedly christian. That's the pitch.

The average person doesn't go around thinking of death, much less fearing it, until its right at their doorsteps. And if they fear anything about it, it is the process and manner of dying rather than the state of being dead itself that worries people.

The most that Christianity offers is an explanation for why death occurs, but it does not do anything to prevent it or make it more palatable. After all, the most significant symbol in Christianity is that of a dead man hung on a cross—not exactly the most marketable imagery.
