I don't think so, but I'm not entirely sure what spiritual conviction entails. If you parse it apart, I could probably give a better answer.

A strong belief stemming from the Holy Spirit's guidance towards repentance, salvation, and a closer relationship with Christ.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

No, not in any intentional or conscious sense.

Like the gospel myths, so more than sufficient for your standard of credulity surely? No?

I see, are you saying you're not a YEC then?

That’s because the quote appears to be taken from an AI overview, for which links are generally not available. That said, it seems easy enough to establish that this erroneous belief is prevalent in your church.

"We next turn our attention to Ellen White’s statements on the age of the earth. We note that throughout her many years of writing she never wavered from the concept of a short chronology for the earth of around 6000 years. At least twenty-five such statements can be found. Another sixteen times she refers to the time lapse between creation and Christ as about 4000 years."

CITATION

"On the third day…

God saw it was good and spoke into the dry earth to produce roots to bear plants, flowers, and trees...(Genesis 1:9-13).

On the fourth day…
Thus God made the sun to “rule over the day,”

So the earth existing with vegetation, before the sun, LOL...

Not easy enough to actually do it, apparently. The SDA church has a list of 28 fundamental beliefs, at the very least look them up. And even then, they're called fundamental because they are descriptive rather than prescriptive. Meaning, if you want to know what I believe you actually have to do the work of asking me.

I looked up the fundamental beliefs. Regardless of what you personally believe, however you pick and choose, it seems SDA's believe in fairy stories.
