“Well, look, I think the public’s right to be skeptical, and, frankly, that’s part of why President Trump’s, you know, ‘no new wars’ kind of campaign mindset resonated with the public,” Davidson replied. “You look at war-weary people who’ve seen just endless wars really in this century so far, post-9/11, the U.S. has kind of been in continual war.”
Davidson made similar comments in a separate CNN interview later Tuesday, where he questioned the Trump administration’s justification for the attack. He noted that he has asked for a classified briefing with administration officials before the strikes occurred to “define the mission in Iran.”
“And we‘re seeing that today with multiple definitions,” he told correspondent Kaitlan Collins.

Is anyone surprised? Israel has made killing Arabs and other minorities for decades.

Yes, the change in public opinion is maybe the only good thing to come out of this. I've seen opinion polls from America that indicate people are finally waking up.
Not that long ago, if you pointed out Israeli atrocities, people would just chant "HamAs!! haMaS!! HamAS!!!" As if that justified everything. Even though the atrocities began long before Hamas was formed and would be continuing even if it didn't exist.
Even Israeli crimes in the West Bank, where Hamas has no political presence, were justified in this way. But a lot of people seem to be coming to their senses now.
Naturally, the billionaires are fighting back. Larry Ellison, a rabid zionist, has bought a controlling stake in Paramount (of which CBS is a part). And by the end of this year will almost certainly get federal permission to buy Warner Brothers, which owns HBO Max and CNN.
Ellison didn't buy TikTok directly, but owns enough of the company to influence its content.
Given the types of appointments he makes (e.g. Bari Weiss) it's clear that the zionist propaganda will be coming back hard and strong.

As long as israel will be able to produce good products used for electronic surveillance (like Pegasus) it will continue to have defenders among governments I think. Public sympathy turned against it (at least from what I read) but in current era it does not mean that much - bots and propaganda can possibly revert the trend.

It need not be a conspiracy. Many in American governance automatically lean to pro-Israeli sentiment a priori. American media as well. Pro-Israeli sentiments sell well here.

Israel will no doubt continue its atrocities as long as the US encourages them.
It's often disappointing to see people condemning Israel's actions while denying that the US makes these actions possible through military, financial, and logistical support. And of course the US vetoes any UN declarations which oppose Israel's actions.
