A recent poll found that 68% of people in Northern Ireland and 73% in the Republic would support a unified Ireland, but only if remaining in the European Union was part of the package (NI left the EU during the Brexit fiasco).

While the poll may very well be an outlier given past results, it’s intriguing on the face of it particularly the results from the north.

Could Brexit have even been well-implemented? Such a phrasing implies it could have been and I cannot, for the life of me, see how. Except maybe if they had managed to pre-negotiate all the many economic agreements that breaking from the EU would have broken in such a way that the other nations would have no choice but to rubber-stamp them.
