So what about the charity? Well, Powell’s wife, Alma Powell, took it over. And it kept raking in donations from corporate America. Ken Lay, the chair of Enron, was a big donor. He also backed a literacy-related charity that was founded by the then-president’s mother. The US Department of State, at the time Powell was secretary, went to bat for Enron in a dispute the company was having with the Indian government.

Never heard a word about this... until the corporate media whores got scared of Drumpf.

The Foirth Estate are all shit. Same group that openly calls Trump a racist, but doesn't consider Hillary calling black teens super predators. Some even try to excuse it as myth.

Colin Powell took the fall in february of 2003. But going by his total conversion afterwards I consider him one of the select few honest republicans. Even more so, think of Obama what you will, because he openly endorsed him four years back.

On the same lines as Mc Namarra on the Democrat side, who in his later years openly admitted to the Vietnam war being a folly.

Also Powell isn't running for president. So it's not as newsworthy as Clinton's exploits.
