My username describes me, as I was raised in an atheist home many, many years ago.
Parents sent me to a parochial school because it was an excellent school vs. the public schools in the area. Catholic students went to their catechism classes, the Jewish kids went to whatever they do, and the rest of us had "Bible study." Even in the first grade I listened to the big-boat tall tales and thought, This is bullshit.
My atheist prayer: "If Trump should die before I wake, I pray the news ain't fake."
