Bacteria grows under 400,000x Earth Gravity!
Amazing! It seems that the perceived limits on the conditions in which life can exist are being demolished 10x as fast as new limits are established...

E. coli cells formed after incubation at 403,367 × g

A new study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences shows that bacteria is capable of growing under gravity more than 400,000 times that of Earth and gives evidence that the theory of panspermia could be possible.

RE: Bacteria grows under 400,000x Earth Gravity!
No big deal. Mass and weight scales to cube of dimension, while strength scale to square of dimension. If a normal sized human can survive 12g, a human that is proportionally shrunken by a factor of 1 million to the size of bacteria would be able to withstand 12 million gs based purely on strength proportionality.
