I say never get married... it's superficial and gets in the way if you stop loving someone.

I think such emotional attachement to prospective procreative partner as can be called love is likely the evolutionary adaptation to meet only a subset of needs that is socialogically being served by the institution of marriage.

If those other needs are unimportant to you, then marriage is inappropriate.
