I'm actually familiar with this piece. It's by a woman called "Biting Beaver."

That said, they do have standards. If they find out that a person has harmed a cat, they will do anything in their power to destroy you. The same if they think you're a paedophile, or if you made fun of a girl dying of Huntington's disease. In all fairness, I'm sure 4Chan isn't as bad as I've heard (maybe - I don't really know). It still has that reputation and I was mostly speaking to that.
