I need a bit of help (a link or something)

I need a bit of help (a link or something)
I want to study seriously about the theory of evolution (all that goes with it), and I was thinking that there must surely be people on this forum that were fascinated about this topic and can give me - if they know, and if I ask nicely - a link to a very good site regarding it, to be comprehensive, from general to very specific, things like that. I want to make sure that I know everything important to be known, that I don't miss something important, things like that. And I don't want to waste my time searching a lot for websites, and to find a lot of sites that are not comprehensive, not dedicated enough to the subject, and stuff like that, and to always be in search of something else, if someone can simply give me a link to a good site dealing with this topic (yeah, and my desire goes for something more than wikipedia).

As about ebooks... if you suggest, only if they are... extremely popular (i.e. that can be found downloadable for free [Image: Laughing.gif]) .

Any help would be appreciated Smile.

The Atheist experience usually refer religious bumfucks to this site, so it must be pretty good. I know it deals alot with the creationism controversy as well, but there's shitloads on evolution.

Sorry to be negative, but I don't think you will get what you want from the web. Evolution is probably the broadest of scientific categories, and much of it still under fierce debate. What you have described is a basic graduate course. Sorry but if you want it, you gotta earn it. I'm Sorry

What bullshit! The internet is the largest collection of information in the history of mankind, if you can't find it on the net you won't find it anywhere!

It's by Richard Dawkins,
and the full title is "The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution"
right?

(just to make sure that I got the right ebook).

and it seems to be only 257 pages long... I expected it to be about 600 pages or more Smile.

I started with two books, books I've kept by my computer ever since. Best way to get "the big picture" without getting brain fried. They are:

Evolution for Dummies.

The Complete Idiot's Guide® to Evolution [Paperback]

If you want to learn as much about the theory as possible I would recommend reading both sources that advocate the theory and sources that oppose it. Here are a couple good ones to start off with.

FOR: The Greatest Show On Earth by Richard Dawkins
AGAINST: The Greatest Hoax on Earth? by Jonathan Sarfati

PRO: TalkOrigins.org
AGAINST: TrueOrigins.org

I hope that helps!

Actually, the Internet is the largest collection of mis-information in the history of mankind. And the largest collection of porn.
